Playing around with wax and dyes

A great weekend it was…..indulged activity with fabric, dyes, wax, and lots of techniques.  

All orchestrated by a wonderfully talented teacher, Tracey McNichol from Newcastle.  If ever you get the chance to do a workshop with Tracey, just do it!

And as if that was not enough, Marion Stewart spoilt us rotten with her sumptous cooking whilst we “made ourselves at home” at her craft retreat, the Bower at Main Creek, a stone’s throw from Dungog.

Here’s a tiny sample of my achievements.   All of these pieces were made from the same three coloured pots of dyes.  Magic!
