I know of two very interesting textile art exhibitions coming up this year in Dungog…..more details coming later.
In preparation for audience attendance, I am making these mini-pieces to encourage tactile fingers from touching the quilts.
As you can imagine, if one hand touches the quilt (as we are tempted to do) that creates no problem, but if 50 hands touch the quilt is likely to become marked. Textile artists who exhibit their fine pieces of textile art will appreciate any encouragement to look with the eyes, not with the hands!
