Absorbing Time.

Workshopping with Australia’s textile artist Julie Ryder has illuminated my knowledge of the chemistry involved in natural dyeing.    Julie’s mastery of the art of mordant printing on cloth, particularly cotton is a ground breaking technique which exposure I am privileged to embrace.

To absorb this new technique I need to spend quiet time in my wet room amongst the nature in our backyard.  Here’s a few pics for you too.

I will post a progress report soon.m meantime you may like to google Julie Ryder’s blog to see her style of art.
